#1.How did you get into music? Listening to parents records, wondering
why they sounded better than my generations music.
#2.How did you guys meet? How did the band get started? I met Brian Lahaie(drums)
when we were 15 at a party of a mutual friend, Greg mihajic(Bass) Showed
up a year later to fill our rythymn guitar player spot.We played in that
band for a few years and toured Canada I was the singer. We didn't actually
form this line up until two years ago, after being apart for 6 or more
years. I took the lead/rythymn guitar singer postion, Greg on Bass, and
Brian on Drums.
#3.Where did the name come from? We were thinking of names that sounded
huge, like "Mountain" which was already taken by one of our
Favorite bands, and we were thinking of our home town, we'd been away
for a long time so " super stack "seemed appropriate since two
of our fathers worked for inco, lol we joke that, inco bought our first
guitars. It also works as a double meaning, we use "Stack" amplifiers
and we are heavy guitar based,......mmmm Super!
#4 How would you describe your sound? Groove based honest, soul rock
n roll!
#5.What are the goals for the band? We would love to bring our music
to the masses and hope to inspire younger players to discover the roots
of Rock for themselves.
#6. What do you want people to remember after going to see you perform
live? I want people to remember the exitement and exhilaration that live
Rock n Roll evokes.
#7.What inspires The Band to write your music? Collective unconcious,
an expression of existing, taking the opportunity when you have open listeners,
to inform people of the state of our current reality on this planet.
#8. What's the most fun about touring, what places have you enjoyed the
most? Meeting more people, and learning. Canada!
#9.All the good bands out of Sudbury Name the best five. I don't know
very many, we havn't spent much time there but I would have to mention
the Elephant Band,Johny Aho, Angie Nussey , Cindy Diore, Far From Heros...good
guys!
#10 If you could describe what it feeld like to peform on stage ? It
is an energy exchange, it reciprocates; Audience, Performer and back it's
a very magical phenomenon, powerful yet exhausting. It has me hooked!
