1. What has the last year been like for illScarlett?
---incredibly busy and very exciting. we've travelled all over north america, europe and japan spreading the iLLness and getting amazing feed back while doing so.

2. Has your sound changed?
---it hasn't really changed, just matured. we still have the fast energy rock and white-boy reggae sound going strong.

3. What makes Ill Scarlett different than other bands?
---we've never went with writing music thats trendy.. i find a lot of bands out there all sound the same. AP bands if you will. they start scream-o and end up having 3 side projects full of synth and crazy hair-cuts. not to say i'm hating on that stuff.. there's definitely a special spot in my heart for the "beyond cool" type.

4. Have you changed much as a group or personally?
---we've been friend since high school. so like everyone we've experienced all kinds of changes in the last 10 yrs. but as a group we've become tighter friends , better musicians and , i say this loosely , professionals ? well atleast 50% of the band.

5. What's the most fun about touring?
---getting to see the world, meeting and partying with cool new ppl.. we get to experience life in a way that a very small % of ppl actually get too , we're very grateful/thankful for it all..

6. Describe what it feels like to perform on stage?
---Feels natural, real and very gratifying. i love performing and making fan dance and sing. best drug money cant buy.

8. What do you want people to remember after going to see you perform live?

---I want them to remember just having a great time.

9. How would you describe your sound?
---rock reggae or party music works too.. .

10. What motivates illScarlett?
---we motivate ourselves.. we've always done everything ourselves and it shows that hard work pays off. so long as we continue working hard and staying focused, then we can continue doing what we love for a living.

11. Where did the name come from?
---from a street sign in mississauga "Will Scarlett drive" . no really cool back story. i just took the "W" off and said out loud illScarlett and alex said yes! however we did steal the street sign.. but then some punk-ass kid stole it off us at a show a few months later. moral of the story.. what comes around goes around.
